Denmark’s trade fair for professional audio, lighting, and stage technology returned to the iconic Copenhagen Opera House on March 11–12, drawing more than 3,000 visitors.
Teknikmessen 2025 welcomed more than 50 exhibitors and visitors from across the Danish AV and live events sector. With its focus on audio, lighting, video, pyrotechnics, LED screens, staging, and effects, the event serves as a platform for both professionals and volunteers in theatre and event production.
“As a distributor, this event gives us a unique opportunity to connect with many of our customers and partners. We truly appreciate being part of this gathering,” said Thomas Christensen from Matrix Sales.

Major brands and distributors showed new technologies across two days of networking and hands-on demonstrations. Exhibitors praised the show’s targeted audience and accessible format.

“When we attend Teknikmessen, we meet the most relevant people. The fair directly targets our core audience, making it an invaluable opportunity for networking. We will definitely be back next year,” said Jacob Hellegård from Vigsø.
First held in the Opera House’s smaller Takkelloftet stage, Teknikmessen has grown steadily in scale and significance. Its return to the Opera House in 2025 underscored the event’s importance to the Danish technical production community. Admission was free, with visitors able to register on-site.

"It's all about networking, new technology, and a shared passion for stagecraft," said show spokesperson Tommy Larsen. With plans already in motion for a return in 2026, Teknikmessen continues to cement its place as a must-attend event for the Nordic AV and stage tech industries.
