TDMaverick opens Munich training facility
TDMaverick has opened a €50,000 training facility for its technical team, vendors and distributors in its offices in Munich Germany.

Uwe Zeithammer, head of TDMaverick Germany, said:“We found that we had a demand for training across many product areas from interactivity to digital signage combined with networking solutions. Once we started discussing the training environment we realised that not only was there a requirement for our technical specialists, who offer channel training, but also for vendors who wanted a best in class set up to train resellers. In addition we have been approached by resellers wanting to spend time with us training their staff and customers on their bespoke solutions.”

Jon Sidwick, director of TDMaverick Europe, added: “We have a strong reseller training programme under our AV Academy, and we will be rolling out a consistent level of training in key technical areas across all nine TDMaverick countries. It makes absolute sense to invest in a network of training rooms across Europe.”

The training room features interactive solutions from Epson and Samsung, large format displays from Sony and Iyama, plus connectivity and mounting solutions from Vision, Cables to Go, Erogtron and HKS. Training sessions already booked include Sony Ziris, Samsung surface 2, and Vision connectivity and control.
