Sharp Europe has appointed Jason Cort as director, product planning and marketing, for its Information Systems division, covering both Sharp’s Document Solutions and Visual Solutions product ranges.
This new role provides a single European marketing function to define and execute the European strategy for Information Systems Product Planning and Marketing, while supporting local sales operations.
Cort will lead Sharp in developing the next generation of its managed print and content services offerings across Europe, using his 17 years of experience working with the world’s largest multi-national print and document outsourcing manufacturers.
Sharp’s Visual Solutions team recently launched the next generation of its series of collaborative touchscreens, the BIG PAD. An example of the way that Sharp’s print and display products are integrated; users can access and edit documents on their BIG PAD and print directly from it during presentations.
Cort will be based at Sharp’s European Headquarters at Stockley Park, London, and will manage a team of 50, across Europe.
