German microphone manufacturer Scheops has announced that Karin Fléing will join Helmut Wittek as co-chief executive officer following the resignation of CEO Ulrich Schoeps. The company remains privately owned, with Schoeps as the majority shareholder.
Fléing joined Schoeps in 2007 and previously held the position of director of sales and marketing. In her new role, she will be tasked with modernizing the company’s sales and marketing activities.
Wittek has been with Schoeps since 2005 and has been performing duties as co-CEO since 2009. His responsibilities have now been extended beyond the technical arena and include close contact with the professional AV industry to maintain Scheops’ credibility.
