Salzbrenner bolsters eastern presence
Salzbrenner Stagetec Media Group, German audio specialist, has opened the doors to its new Russian subsidiary in Moscow.

The new office starts with a team of five Russian and German engineers who will oversee current Mediagroup projects in Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre and the Alexandrinsky-Theatre in St. Petersburg. In addition, the new facility is designed to further develop the company’s market strategy in Eastern Europe.

The Moscow subsidiary is located in the centre of the city, a few minutes away from Red Square, in Ulitsa Petrovka 20/1. The 200m² facility houses a fully equipped demo studio. Here, clients can be introduced to the company’s mixing consoles and routing technology and participate in training sessions. The studio is equipped with a 32 channel-strip Aurus, a compact Auratus for broadcast installations and a Nexus routing system. A mid-size Crescendo desk will follow early next year.

“Thanks to our constant efforts over the last ten years, we have gained a very satisfying market position in former CIS countries”, said Stephan Salzbrenner, managing director marketing and sales. “Today our list of references includes installations in the Kremlin Palace, the Moscow International House of Music, the Alexandrinsky-Theater in St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Mariinsky concert hall and its OB-truck. Opening our own subsidiary in Moscow is the logical next step in consolidating these achievements. It will bring us closer to our clients in Eastern Europe and will boost our growth in these dynamic markets.”
