Riedel Communications has snapped up intercom and communication manufacturer Delec Audio- und Videotechnik in addition to last week’s acquisition of ASL Intercom.
The move strengthens Riedel’s Dante capabilities, adds engineering talent and grows its portfolio of communications systems.
Thomas Riedel, CEO at Riedel Communications, confirmed that the entire Delec team would join Riedel and said: “Delec has long been known for its visionary ideas and strong technology, and the company’s products complement and augment the Riedel portfolio in a way that will bring even greater versatility to our customers.
Delec was established in 1988 and supplies digital intercom and communication systems to global broadcasters, in both fixed installations and outside broadcasts.
