Promethean promotes Ian Curtis to head of Western Europe, Africa and ANZ
Global education technology company Promethean, has appointed Ian Curtis as Head of Western Europe, Africa, Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), in a move which enables the company to pursue growth opportunities in these regions and execute the international roll-out of ClassFlow.

Curtis joined Promethean in 2008 as head of UK and Ireland, and then became head of Northern Europe & UKI.

Curtis launched Promethean’s distribution model in the UK and then led the expansion of this network throughout other regions in Europe.

Due to launch in the UK at Bett 2015, ClassFlow – the all-in-one lesson delivery platform for synchronising classroom devices and orchestrating lessons across a connected classroom – is the latest in Promethean’s continually evolving product portfolio, which also includes the ActivPanel range of interactive flat panels.

Commenting on his new role, Curtis said: “It’s been an extremely interesting journey over the past few years. It has been an honour to support the needs of teachers and schools with transformational education technology solutions. Being given the opportunity to expand this support as the head of a larger and very diverse region is exciting for me. As we prepare to rollout ClassFlow internationally, I look forward to growing market share in my regions and continuing to serve our channel with innovative products and solutions for their markets.”
