PLASA Events said that its Leeds, UK event, PLASA Focus is approaching sell out. The 2011 event will be held at The Royal Armouries on April 19 and 20.
One-hundred-and-twenty companies have booked exhibition space. Show organisers claim that more than 1,800 visitors passed through its doors at last years show which attracted 130 exhibitors.
Nicola Rowland, show director, put the show’s popularity down to its “unique” ethos.
“[PLASA Focus offers] exhibitors a straight choice between shell scheme and truss, keeping the event affordable and hassle-free for exhibitors.”
She added: "The social and networking side is a great opportunity for everybody; the mid-show party brings audio, video and lighting people together in the North."
The show’s visitor profile demonstrates that the event is truly regional: 70% of visitors are from the North of England.
