‘Multiview’ AR glasses project virtual screens
Lenovo debuted its new augmented reality (AR) glasses at CES 2021, capable of presenting up to five virtual displays to users for a virtual, multiview experience.

The glasses, dubbed the ‘ThinkReality A3 lightweight smart glasses’ are powered by the Qualcomm SnapDragon XR1 platform and stereoscopic 1080p displays to present up to five virtual displays.

To achieve this, Lenovo added an 8MP RGB camera for 1080p video, with dual ‘fish eye’ cameras providing room-scale tracking.

The glasses can be used by tethering to a PC or select Motorla smartphone models via a USB-C cable and are designed to fit like sunglasses, with industrial frame options for durability.
