Meyer Sound has concluded its 45th year of business, reflecting on its global growth and innovation with milestone achievements in 2024.

In 2024, Meyer Sound introduced its Ultra-X80 point source loudspeaker, designed for outdoor stages. The manufacturer also highlighted its Panther large-format linear line array and 2100-LFC low-frequency control element, which was used at high-profile tours and festivals in 2024.

Meyer Sound focused on its expansion into Asia in 2024, with founders John Meyer and Helen Meyer visiting key markets to foster relationships and strengthen partnerships, with a journey that culminated in Jakarta with the launch of a new distribution partnership with PT Promedia Sejahtera Raya.

On education, Meyer Sound focused on encouraging the next generation of audio professionals through science-driven programs, expanding the company’s in-person training and online education platform, improving access to knowledge across all disciplines and experience levels. This year, Meyer Sound focused on encouraging underrepresented communities in audio through ongoing collaborations with Women’s Audio Mission, Sounds Girls, and other organisations.

2024 also saw a large focus on Meyer Sound’s global software teams, supporting enhancements in its Nebra and Spacemap Go platforms.
