Christie’s M Series projectors kicked off their European debut with a bang as they scooped the award for Most InAVative Display Product for Commercial use at the annual InAVation Awards. The Gala dinner was held on Monday February 2nd at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam, the eve of ISE.
On hand to receive the award at the show was Christie’s senior product manager for business products, George Tsintzouras who commented: “We are thrilled to have picked up this accolade. We listened to our customers and worked hard to develop a product that not only meets the demands of today’s sophisticated pro AV applications, but also raises the bar in the marketplace.â€
InAVate Editor, Chris Fitzsimmons added: “The judging panel was particularly impressed by the technological steps taken over the environmental credentials of the M Series. Reducing the energy consumption of the product, and increasing the lifetime of the lamps were both key considerations.â€
The Technology InAVation Awards 2009 attracted over 180 product entries across the 11 categories, with more than 12,000 votes being cast by the industry to decide the eventual winners.
