Integrators who are travelling to attend ISE 2014 have been invited to come along to the AudioForum event which takes place the day before the exhibition begins.
The forum will host a range of speakers from the world of pro audio and there will be plenty of time to network. Organiser Connessioni say the forum has been organised so that professionals and companies of different backgrounds can sit around the same table of the culture of systems integration to widen perspectives and plan new partnerships and business opportunities.
The theme chosen as guiding thread of the contents of AudioForum@ISE 2014 is protocols and systems of integrated digital audio transport.
The first speaker of the day will be Mark Yonge of AES who will talk about Connecting audio and the AES67 networking standard. Andreas Hildebrand ALC NetworX will discuss “AES67 now†with RAVENNA – the IP-based real-time media network. Aidan Williams from Audinate will discuss Dante, present and future and there will also be a Bose session, with the subject and speaker yet to be announced.
Afterwards Rick Kreifeldt from the AVnu Alliance will talk about certifying AVB products for interoperability and an open mic session will round off the day.
The event will be held on 3rd February, the day before the start of ISE 2014, at RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam. Early bird tickets at €50 each are available until February 2 and from February 3 tickets will be charged at the full rate of €100 each.
