Extron enhances University Esports experience
An Extron NAV Pro AVoIP system empowers the Middle Tennessee State University LEVEL Up Esports arena, creating a flexible, scalable AV switching and distribution system.

The NAV Pro AVoIP system is augmented by an Extron streaming media processing, audio DSP processing, and audio amplification. Controlled by an Extron Pro series control system which includes 10-in TouchLink Pro touchpanels working in tandem with an IPCP Pro xi control processor.

The NAV Pro AVoIP infrastructure brings visually lossless distribution of 4K video over 1 Gbps Ethernet, designed to scalable as to accommodate as many AV sources and destinations as needed.

NAV E 121 encoders connect all AV content sources, including gaming PCs, coaching PCs, and POV cameras, to the AVoIP network. NAV SD 101 scaling decoders connect displays and other output devices to the AVoIP network, two decoders feeding an SMP 352 dual recording streaming media processor to stream gaming footage to the Internet for league competitions. Recording of streamed content can also be saved for later viewing.

TouchLink Pro touchpanels and IPCP Pro xi control processors allow users to control AV system functions through an interface with buttons and sliders that select AV sources and destinations, adjust sound volume, aim cameras, and perform other AV system actions.
