Duran overhauls sales force
Duran Audio has bolstered its sales team, appointing Max Lindsay-Johnson as international sales and marketing manager.

Lindsay-Johnson will be based in the company’s new R&D and production facility in Zaltbommel, the Netherlands. He said the foundations that Duran Audio had laid over the past few years made it an "exiting time" for the company and continued to say that he felt the time was right to "capitalise on these foundations.

"Seldom do you get an opportunity to be involved in something so technologically far reaching, with such an inspirational team of people," he added.

Prior to his post at Duran Audio, Lindsay-Johnson was managing director of Harman Pro UK. In his new post he will endeavour to further develop the worldwide distribution network for the AXYS brand, whilst offering support to our current partners.

Lindsay-Johnson will be working with Nick Screen, who was recently appointed as international business development manager. "I believe Nick and Max, together, will prove to be a strong team who will bring a fresh impetus to our business," commented Gerrit Duran, founder and president of Duran Audio.

Duran Audio UK has also seen its sales team grow. Steffan Lewis, who has been with the company since 2002, takes on the role of technical sales for the PA/VA market whilst Andrew Taylor joins the company to focus on technical sales for the theatre and touring markets.

Taylor joins Duran Audio UK from Stage Electrics where he was an audio project manager. Andrew will be working with Chris Full, Duran Audio’s Theatre and Touring Sound consultant, in a bid to increase the presence of the AXYS brand in these markets.
