Polymedia has launched Flipbox, a solution it says can serve as an interactive display, computer, sound system, videoconferencing terminal and a flip chart.
The integrated solution is designed for meeting rooms and conference halls. It requires no configuration and after logout it securely clears its memory.
Users can digitally draw on the screen, print records, save materials to a USB storage device or to the cloud, send emails and access social networks.
It offers HD 720p conferencing and is compatible to many vendors including LifeSize, Cisco and Polycom.
Stored files can be demonstrated, annotated and saved again.
Laptop desktops can be displayed over a wireless network and a internet connection allows websites to be accessed and annotated.
Polymedia also plans to integrate the device with cloud services.
