Clear Channel sends high street interactive

Videos and vouchers are some of the content consumers can unlock through tapping or scanning their mobile devices on interactive panels in high streets and town centres across the UK.

Clear Channel’s Mobile Platform has been rolled out to 10,000 high street 6-sheet and digital roadside panels equipped with both Near Field Communications (NFC) and QR code capabilities.

Consumers who scan panels next to adverts for the upcoming Danny Boyle movie Trance can watch film trailers; Dewynters will offer video clips of the West End musical The Bodyguard; while panels next to KFC posters provide a proximity search that show the nearest restaurant.
