Bose Professional acquires Fulcrum Acoustic
Bose Professional has acquired Fulcrum Acoustic, acquiring the company’s staff and product portfolio.

The Fulcrum brand, products, and the team will remain in place, providing support for projects through the same channels, with the company’s design and manufacturing remaining in Whitinsville, USA.

With its acquisition, Fulcrum is now equipped Bose Professional’s global distribution, resources, and scale, growing Bose Professional’s portfolio. Currently, Fulcrum will continue to operate as an independent organisation within Bose Professional as both teams gradually bring both organisations together.

The acquisition aims to expand Fulcrum’s global reach, while expanding Bose Professional’s product offering across the globe as Stephen Siegel, co-founder and president, Fulcrum Acoustic, explained: “From our first conversations, it was clear Bose Professional understood what Fulcrum is and why it works,” said Stephen Siegel, co-founder and president of Fulcrum Acoustic. “Our customers choose Fulcrum for the engineering, the craft, and the way we stand behind our work - none of that changes. Now we get to bring that work to a global audience at a much faster pace than we could on our own.”

The acquisition is the first made by Bose Professional since announcing its new brand name, 802 LABS, which it will begin using in February 2027.

John Maier, CEO, Bose Professional, commented: “We’ve admired Fulcrum for years - the products of course, but also the way their team approaches the customer experience. They earned one of the most respected names in performance audio the honest way: great engineering and a habit of showing up for their customers. Our job now is to protect what makes Fulcrum special and put our full scale behind it, so more people around the world get to hear what this team can do.”
