Biamp announces tie-in with Intel Unite
Speaking exclusively to InAVate, Biamp has revealed ahead of InfoComm 2015 that its TesiraFORTÉ range of digital audio processors is compatible with the recently introduced Intel Unite system.

Through the use of a USB port, TesiraFORTÉ provides high quality audio in a short space of time, cutting the set-up time that has dogged meetings in the past.

Biamp is also working on a range of connectivity options for different environments, including Biamp-specific Intel Unite plug-ins, as well as options for direct Ethernet AVB/TSN connections.

Launched at IT show Computex in early June, Intel Unite will compete with the likes of Kramer Via and Barco ClickShare, to offer users wireless collaboration in the meeting room space.

It features an Intel Core vPro processor-powered mini PC, which sits in the conference room and the Intel Unite app which runs on devices, so meeting participants can present wirelessly using new or existing displays and projectors, and both on-site and remote attendees can view and interact with content real time.

Intel Unite includes capabilities that increase security within the collaboration session itself, including the use of a rotating PIN design and the hardware-enhanced security of an Intel Core vPro processor.
