Analog Way jubilant over success of training day
Analog Way is celebrating the success of its July 23, 2008 training session, an event designed to add value to its product offering. The Analog Days training program was held at the company’s Paris headquarters and focussed on soft edge blending.

The designer and manufacturer of image converters and presentation switchers welcomed customers from Poland, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.

Soft edge blending consists of the set up of a large screen image using multiple video projectors with overlapping areas that make the seams between projectors invisible. This application requires specific techniques from the calculation of the screen size to the adjustment of image parameters.

During the day, theoretical explanations of soft edge blending technology were presented as well as practical cases with a soft edge blending screen. Participants used Analog Way’s Di-VentiX, a digital computer and video up/down mixer scaler switcher, and remote controller, Axion. The visitors also had the opportunity for hands-on participation.

Piotr Majewski, of MOOV in Poland, said: “This training was a great opportunity to have a chance to share, compare and learn more. For those who work with the Di-VentiX and other Analog Way products every day, it has a great value.”
