An acquisition that will enable AMX to expand its product offerings into smaller classrooms, conference rooms and other environments.
AMX has acquired ProCon Technology, a UK-based manufacturer of audio/video (A/V) switching and control equipment, ProCon has focused exclusively on developing simple, cost-effective solutions the company’s product portfolio includes combined keypad and controller systems, presentation and matrix switchers, and distribution amplifiers. With this acquisition, AMX’s product portfolio will include a new line up of configurable control keypad systems, switchers and distribution amplifiers specifically designed to simplify the way people interact with, and use, A/V equipment in simpler, single-room environments.
