A university in Dubai has implemented a system, using Advantech's UTC-W101E all-in-one panel PC, to deliver class schedules, meeting information, calendaring services, reservations and conflict management. The system is accessed via touch panel computers located at room entrances.
Advantech teamed up with a local system integrator to design the solution that used its Panel PC with a 10.1” touch panel display. UTC-W101E is a fanless, Intel Atom based system, which has low power requirements, provides a 16:9 natural viewing experience and incorporates programmable function keys.
