State of the art: NBARD boardroom

Cosmos Business Machines talks with Hurrairah bin Sohail about how it delivered a modern boardroom for the National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development in Mumbai, India.

Boardroom projects in the corporate sector are a great opportunity for integrators in Asia Pacific to showcase their skills and competency. The meeting space at the National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development located in Bandra in Mumbai, India serves as an example.

The project was handled by integrator Cosmos Business Machines while Elevate Consulting was also engaged in the capacity of consultant. The project commenced in December 2014 and was completed in May 2915 with the National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development investing INR 17,500,500 (approximately USD 265,510) to ensure that the best possible solution was procured.

Pankaj Patil, senior manager for audio visual at Cosmos Business Machines, talks about the brief received by the integrator: “The end-user expected state of the art video systems and the latest and best audio visual technologies. The entire scope of the project included a videoconferencing solution, presentation, local speech reinforcement and unilateral audio push to talk system.”

The key message from the end-user was the fact that they wanted the latest technology along with a system that would be intuitive and easy to use.
