Famous golf tournament, The Ryder Cup, recently drafted in the services of Digico for its Gala held in Kentucky. NMR Staging and Events managed the audiovisual installation for the event and chose a Digico CS-D5 to manage more than 24 inputs of video, wireless mics, recording/playback functions and outputs for the audience and broadcast recording desks.
The console’s ability to handle the Digigram EtherSound technology meant it was able to keep the audio all-digital by sending eight channels of EtherSound out of the console to a NEXO P.A. via NEXO 242 digital processors.
Samuel Ryder (who died in 1936) and gave his name to the competition, was brought back to life at the Gala thanks to Digital Illusions’ Musion Eyeliner holographic projection system and NMR.
