Hurrairah bin Sohail speaks with Solutions India Systems to discover how it managed the AV requirements for a hospital installation in India.

Global Hospitals is one of the fastest growing hospital chains in India and it recently opened up a new site.

To handle the AV needs and requirements of the hospital, Global Hospitals engaged the services of Solutions India Systems Pvt. Ltd and gave them a budget of INR9,000,000 (approximately USD143575).

Punit Rastogi, managing director for Solution India Systems, was the driving force behind this healthcare AV project. He sheds further light of the system integrator’s involvement: “Solutions India Systems was engaged in the project to create one of its kind AV infrastructure encompassing present day AV technology products which could help doctors to share their experiences during the operation procedure and patient case study, through collaboration on AV technology platform.”

Initial talks with the end-user revealed what Global Hospitals expected from the AV systems. Rastogi says: “Global Hospitals wanted to equip the hospital with latest AV facility, where the healthcare professionals are able to show, record and share live operations internally as well as with other national and international hospitals during emergency, complicated operations, training, consultation using convergent AV and IT.”

Supplying such a system requires more than just installing the relevant communication solutions.
