System Solutions has been awarded a 39 million South African Rand (€3.6 million) contract by the City of Johannesburg to supply and install a high definition IPTV, digital signage video distribution system as well as two large format, high resolution outdoor LED screens at the new Soccer City Stadium venue.

Barco projectors for pilot training

Barco has installed two nine-projector SEER mini-domes for Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training & Support in the Asia-Pacific region. The Barco SEER (Small Environment-Enhancing Reality) system is being used for basic flight training in the Pilatus PC-21 Basic Wing Course trainer. The mini-dome is driven by nine of Barco's liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) projectors, which are designed specifically for flight simulation purposes.

Signage rolled out at BI Management School

The BI Norwegian School of Management, one of Europe’s largest business schools, has launched a digital signage network spanning all five of its campuses. Working with Scala and YIT Building Systems, a Scala Certified Partner based in Oslo, the school installed a 38-screen network that broadcasts important news and information to students, staff and visiting campus groups.
