One Systems will unveil its new powered loudspeaker system, POPSSystem, at London’s Plasa show next week.
The Portable Outdoor Powered System15 is a powered three-way sound system featuring concert-quality components, 5,000 watts of tri-amped power, full digital signal processing and tough, roadworthy enclosures.
It is comprised of the POPS15, an active 15-inch two-way system and POPSSub, an active 18-inch subwoofer system.
POPS15 features a 15-inch (381 mm) woofer with a 4-inch (101.6 mm) voice coil and a medium-format compression driver coupled with a High-Q 60o x 40o constant-directivity horn that are capable of delivering medium to long-throw coverage and beautifully-detailed sound quality. POPS15 is equipped with Powersoft amplifiers delivering 3,000 watts of peak, efficient, class-D power and features full digital signal processing for EQ, crossover, alignment, dynamics and protection.
POPSSub includes an 18-inch (381 mm) woofer equipped with a 4-inch (101.6 mm) voice coil. Its Powersoft amplifier delivers 2,000 watts of power. POPSSub is equipped with large-diameter pneumatic wheels and a metal pole mount.
The system also includes customised, extra-long, SJOOW-rated 30.5 m / 100 ft AC mains and XLR-type signal cables with premium moisture-resistant connectors. Each AC mains and XLR signal cables are supplied on portable cable reels.
