Crestron strengthens team in Europe
Crestron has announced two appointments; with long standing employee Phillip Pini shifting from its residential team to join commercial enterprise, and Rajen Singadia joining with a focus on education.
Pini, who has worked for Crestron for eight years, joins the company’s Commercial Enterprise team as business development manager. He began his career in Residential Development, moved into the role of head of Residential Development, UK and recently to head of Residential Development, Europe.
The new role sees Pini take responsibility for developing the enterprise business, while maintaining an active role within the residential MDU segment.
He said: “Joining the Enterprise Business Development team enables me to grow even further at Crestron and share the knowledge I gained from the residential world over to the corporate. The two are very similar but focusing on different product groups. I am excited for this new challenge and what it will bring. My focus will be our current global Enterprise end users and developing new opportunities.”
Meanwhile, Rajen Singadia [pictured right] has joined Crestron as business development manager for Education in the UK.
He has spent six years working for NEC Display Solutions Europe where he was most recently a regional account manager.
He said: "It’s a great opportunity to be involved with the global leader in control and automation technology and I am excited to be joining the team at Crestron. I’m looking forward to working with the universities and growing this vertical further”.
Phil Breitschadel, regional director UK and Ireland, added: “The increasing demand from our education customers led us to look for an addition to our team and we are very fortunate to find someone of Rajen’s calibre to fulfil this role”.
