Teracue eyevis has released its ICUE-Playout streaming server for up to 4 x 4K streams or 16 x Full-HD 1080p60/50 files.
The 2RU appliance is used to deliver IP-video streams into presentation and information applications, and is suitable for looping or scheduling single video files or complete playlists into digital signage players.
It is based on the ICUE media server engine and ICUE-Playout is designed for secure, stable and continuous operation and can be used inside large IPTV and OTT platforms to generate numerous ad-channels simultaneously.
ICUE-Playout allows scheduled, manual or infinite-loop playout from uploaded or recorded MPEG-TS transport stream files.
It supports unicast or multicast streaming output. A new auto-upload function enables simple and quick import of new playout files into the appliance; including JPEG thumbnail and XML metadata support.
The unit can be used as a source for sending content over the standard IP network to eyevis IP-based LCD displays; either with fully integrated eyeProcessing units (EPU) or to LED video walls or displays supplied with external EPU units. The EPU is able to act as a multi-channel receiver, and as a high-performance multi-viewer decoder.
Teracue will present IPTV and IP-Video solutions and the ICUE-Playout server at IBC 2014 on stand 9.B24.
