Shure launches SLX-D+ wireless microphone

Shure launched its SLX-D+ wireless microphone system at NAMM 2026, designed for live performance, houses of worship, education, content creation, electronic newsgathering, broadcast, and video industries.

The SLX-D+ features wide tuning across all components, with remote system management, AES-256 encryption, and automatic feedback suppression.

The microphone system features wide tuning across all components up to 138 MHz, enabling nationwide deployment. Systems can operate across multiple frequency brands, reducing the need to own multiple product variants.

The SLX-D+ features ShowLink Ease technology, providing two-way communication between receiver and transmitter in real time. When synced, the transmitter remains paired to the receiver when powered on. This allows automated radio frequency set up, and remote parameter adjustments to eliminate the need for physical proximity and streamlining live management between performances.

The system can automatically scan for a new, clean frequency should interference occur, deploying to both the receiver and transmitter without requiring user interaction.

Digital feedback reduction algorithms are integrated into the SLX-D+, automatically detecting and suppressing audio feedback.

Management of the system can be accessed via the Wireless Workbench Mobile app, allowing users to monitor and adjust systems remotely using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, available for the SLX-D+ system. Gain visibility and control over system gain are enabled, with transmitter locking and unlocking, battery status, frequency scans and changes, as well as audio metering.

Backwards compatibility with existing SLX-D systems is available, with the SLX-D+ introducing a new half-rack dual receiver to support upgrades and flexible configurations.

RF cascading also allows for three SLX-D+ quad receivers to be linked together to create a 12-channel SLX-D+ receiver system, facilitating the ability to scale up and condense the footprint of multi-channel wireless systems without additional accessories.

Users can set and combine audio levels, mixing them down between one and two outputs to simplify the process of managing wireless output levels and managing receiver outputs to match open mixer channels.

The SLX-D+ wireless system will be available in February 2026.
