Shure has announced a firmware update, version 4.1, that provides additional functionality for products in Shure’s networked systems range. The update includes compatibility with Audinate’s Dante domain manager as well as compatibility enhancements with third party software and hardware videoconferencing codecs and AES67 networking compatibility for products such as the UltimoX chipset.
The support for third party video codecs includes Cisco, Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams, adding programming-free USB mute sync compatibility with the IntelliMix P300 and ANIUSB-Matrix.
Dante domain manager compatibility is included in firmware release 4.1, with Shure’s Microflex Advance MXA910 and MXA310 array microphones, the IntelliMix P300 audio conferencing processor and the ANI audio network interfaces able to use Audinate’s network management software for Dante-enabled devices.
The expanded support for additional third-party video codecs includes Cisco, Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams, providing programming-free USB mute sync compatibility with the IntelliMix P300 and ANIUSB-MATRIX.
Workflow improvements is added for the IntelliMix P300 and ANIUSB-Matrix when connected to Microflex advance array microphones from a single interface.
New sound reinforcement capabilities have been added for the P300, with additional direct outputs, an expanded matrix mixer and additional Dante audio outputs.
In addition, Shure received zoom room certification for its audio-conferencing systems, with Microsoft Teams certification for the Microflex Advance MXA910 ceiling array, MXA310 table array microphone, IntelliMix P300 audio conferencing processor and Microflex wireless microphone products also being announced.
