RCF has introduced the DPS 604X, a 4-channel class-D power amplifier with crossover designed for installed sound systems.
The DPS 604X has four inputs and four outputs that could be combined in different configurations: a DIP switch on the rear panel allows to choose among eight operational modes, and adapt the system to the specific installation.
The low distortion power output is up to 4x230W RMS (2Ω). Moreover, it has two variable hi-pass filters (on channels A and B) and a variable low-pass filter for subwoofers, with cutoff frequencies in the range from 50 Hz to 250 Hz.
Applications include retail, hospitality, HoW and small and medium sized PA systems.
