Creative technology studio Kiss the Frog has launched Backstage Control, a device management system built for museums, attractions, and visitor experiences.
Kiss the Frong has drawn on its two decades or working in these settings to design a system it says will offer AV integrators a reliable, scalable, and intuitive platform for managing complex media installations.
Backstage Control centralises control and monitoring for a range of AV devices. Initially developed with a focus on controlling Windows-based computers within exhibitions, Backstage Control has evolved to encompass projectors, digital signage players, mobile devices, and more.
A central dashboard allows users to view all connected devices at a glance and quickly pinpoint any issues. Remote control and scheduling features power devices on and off remotely on a schedule. Live monitoring allows real-time status overview to prevent downtime. Media updates can be pushed to computers from a single interface. Pre-configured, dedicated server hardware is designed for fast, hassle-free installation.

Backstage Control is already deployed in museums and attractions across the globe, supporting installations at venues like the Heineken Experience and Media Museum in the Netherlands, Experimentarium in Denmark, The DoSeum and Play Playground in the United States.
The system is now available to AV integrators, museums, attractions and creative agencies worldwide.
