Humly, the Swedish workplace experience company, has extended the Humly booking ecosystem to QR coding, bringing the convenience of instant space booking to the personal device.
Now available and debuting at ISE 2026, Humly QR Code connects physical spaces including rooms, desks, phone booths and parking spaces via the company’s Humly Reservations software. The new feature offers a hardware- and app-free system for smartphone users, reducing manual interactions and streamlining front-end IT work for customers.
Visitors to the Humly stand (2W300) can step through simulations Humly QR Code to observe how each unique code connects to a specific shared resource in an office building, university campus or other facility where people work, learn or visit.
The Humly Reservations program instantly opens on any smartphone browser upon scanning digital or printed QR codes, displaying real-time availability to confirm immediate bookings or consider alternatives. Those options including access to ongoing or upcoming reservations to determine future availability.
Humly QR Code also supports personalised tools, such as the ability to edit bookings or view nearby space availability if the user’s primary choice is occupied. Administrators also benefit through quick creation, downloading, and management of QR codes directly from Humly Control Panel, the central management system for the Humly ecosystem.
Codes can be generated as static (for fixed resources) or dynamic (for flexible or changing setups), making it simple to keep everything accurate and up to date without reprinting the QR code.
