DirectOut updates modular audio converter with AoIP remote capabilities

DirectOut has updated its Prodigy.MC modular audio converter with AoIP and remote capabilities, able to be natively managed via globcon, a unified remote-control platform or an integrated web server.

An implemented JSON-API is included for integration with third-party remote control software, with more protocols set to be added in the future.

The Prodigy.MC features an LTC reader and BLDS generator, which can be monitored and controlled using globcon.

BLDS is available as a virtual source in Matrix, providing monitoring of connections with automatic fail-over switching.

An option slot is provided for audio network formats including Dante, RAVENNA and SoundGrid.

The RAVENNA network audio module, RAV.IO, complies with ST 2110-30/31 and supports all ST 2022-7 classes, with the hardware capable of accommodating stream delays of over 500 ms for use in WAN environments.
