Barco launches 14k lumen projector

Barco has launched the RLM-W14, a three-chip DLP projector with active stereo 3D, WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution, and a brightness level of 14,500 centre lumens.

It is equipped with HDBaseT technology and is designed for fixed installation in small- to medium-sized venues. It has a rugged chassis, extended warping and blending functionalities and optional rental frame to make it also suitable for rental and staging.

The projector’s TLD lenses are compatible with Barco’s RLM-W12 projector, HDX and HDF projector ranges.

It is also equipped with BarcoLink technology, which allows native WUXGA @ 60Hz signals to be transmitted between the Barco image processors and projectors via a BNC cable. The RLM-W14 operates on a voltage of 110V - 240V.

The projector can be controlled via wired or wireless remote control, the projector control app for Android and iOS devices, and the user-friendly Barco Projector Toolset software.

Barco will show the RLM-W14 projector at the Euro Attractions Show (EAS), RAI Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from 23 – 25 September. (Hall 7, booth #7321.)

The projector will be commercially available from October 2014.
