Carys Green, sales account manager, Pioneer Group (UK) has been appointed as director of Women in AV (WAVE) UK, with the organisation’s new leadership team also being announced alongside objectives for the organisation in 2020.
Green will be responsible for the activities of WAVE UK including events and sponsorship, with the updated leadership team consisting of:

Mentor Programme – Sadie Groom, managing director, Bubble Agency
PR – Beky Cann, director of PR and communications, Peerless-AV
Social Media – Maddie Vining, senior AV technician, 1 Wimpole Street
Male ambassador – Kevin McLoughlin, AV Manager, 1 Wimpole Street and director of AV User Group
WAVE aims for closer cooperation with the AVIXA Women’s Council through 2020, aiming to encourage more men to join and participate with WAVE event s and activities.
