Vue, the largest privately owned cinema operator in Europe, and Barco are celebrating several major milestones approaching the one-year anniversary of Epic by Vue, its premium large format experience built around HDR by Barco projection.
Almost a year on from opening the first Epic by Vue screen at Vue Nottingham, the format has expanded to 14 sites and 15 Epic screens across Vue’s European estate, including Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Milan and Silea in Italy, and Bristol Castleford, Islington and Leicester Square in the UK.
Epic has surpassing 400,000 admissions in less than a year and with repeat visits at twice the rate of other premium large format experiences across Vue’s circuit.
