Sonic Days 2025: Where sound connects creativity, technology, and people

Sonic Days 2025: Where sound connects creativity, technology, and people
On November 19–20, 2025, Sonic College in Kolding, Denmark, once again becomes a hub for global sound innovation as it hosts Sonic Days 2025.

The annual event invites sound professionals, artists, technologists, and researchers to two days of inspiration, learning, and exchange.

Now in its fourth edition, Sonic Days has cemented its reputation as one of Northern Europe’s most influential gatherings for the audio community. The programme features nine thematic tracks covering everything from film and TV sound to game audio, music production, sound art, audio technology, and immersive experiences.

This year’s lineup includes Oscar-winning sound editor James Mather (Top Gun: Maverick), Grammy-winning engineer Morten Lindberg, and immersive audio pioneer Hans-Martin Buff (Peter Gabriel), alongside a host of international and Nordic voices shaping the future of sound.

Visitors can expect hands-on workshops, cutting-edge demonstrations, and experimental performances that blur the boundaries between art, science, and storytelling. Thanks to the support of Dolby Creator Lab and gold sponsors such as Genelec, Neumann, Audiokinetic, Dynaudio, Meyer Sound, MPSE, and Stouenborg, Sonic Days remains a free and inclusive event open to anyone passionate about sound.

For Inavate, Sonic College is a familiar name. We visited the Kolding campus during Sonic Days 2022, shortly after its official opening, to see first-hand the remarkable facilities that now host this event, from the 187-channel Meyer Sound Spacemap Go installation in the five-storey atrium to the Dolby Atmos Mastering Suite and Dante-connected studios that make the college a world-class environment for audio education.
