Paul Molyneux, managing director of Sharp UK, has been appointed COO and deputy group general manager of Europe Group and vice president of Sharp Electronics European Group (SEEG).
Molyneux has headed the company for six years and was the first non-Japanese UK MD. He will be responsible for all of Sharp’s European sales subsidiaries and Sharp Microelectronics Europe, as well as business planning, business structure improvements, PR, branding and environmental policy.
Paul Hide will replace Molyneux as managing director and president of Sharp UK. Hide moves to the position from operations director and director of HE Division at Sharp UK. Hide has been with Sharp for five years and previous to his current role was Sharp UK’s marketing director.
