For the second year running Newcastle University in the UK is hosting a Learning Technology Event. The event, held on 19 and 20 February, is free to attend and is an opportunity for academic and technical staff to discuss how products can enhance the delivery and engagement of students in learning environments.

For manufacturers this is an opportunity to showcase their innovative products especially those that encourage collaborative learning.
The event is being supported by the NEUPC and the Universities Quilt department (Quality in Learning and Teaching) and is seen as a forum for manufacturers and end users to engage in a relaxed atmosphere.
The target audience will be a mix of support service managers and technicians, learning technologists, academics and end users from Educational establishments across the UK.
Content for the event is split into two sections, there is the drop in exhibitor exhibition which is held in the Lindisfarne room, 22 manufacturers and suppliers from the NEUPC AV agreement.
There is also a varied seminar/workshop programme that runs alongside the exhibition with a mixture of Academic and manufacturer lead sessions on developing and implementing these interactive/collaborative concepts.
