Saville opens new Skype for Business Centre
AV integrator Saville Audio Visual has announced a new demonstration facility at its head office in York.  The Skype for Business Centre has been designed to showcase the range of technologies available to users across the education, business, healthcare and public sectors.

The facility aims to demonstrate the applications and business benefits that can be achieved through the adoption of Skype for Business.

From simple phones through to large-room integrated collaboration solutions, the experience takes visitors on a journey through typical working environments and communication scenario’s.

David Willie, head of communication & collaboration at Saville said: "The facilities are structured into various zones demonstrating real business environments, such as fixed desk, mobile, meeting room, huddle room and immersive collaboration rooms.

"Skype for business or Lync as it was formerly known, is very well adopted across many small, medium and large organisations and our new facility not only allows us to demonstrate the best in related technologies, but also how these solutions can be connected to other communication environments such as Videoconferencing and PBX telephony. We often talk to clients about unified communication but we can now show them in a structured environment that closely replicates their own businesses."

The Skype for Business Centre showcases products from Polycom, Microsoft, Outsourcery, Smart, Revolabs, Convene and Quadra.
