Samsung and Quividi work together to help manage social distancing in retail stores
Samsung has announced a new partnership with Quividi, a provider of an audience & campaign intelligence platform for digital signage. The partnership will combine Samsung display signage products with Quividi’s real-time digital signage analytics so retailers can deliver reassurance to customers and staff about their safety measures.

With the ability to deliver mask detection and thermal scanning, along with store traffic data, the new platform will help retailers bolster their safety and security protocols. It has also been designed to help businesses manage social distancing measures in store.

The technology works by using data capturing hardware, such as cameras, to count how many people are entering a store. Quividi’s audience intelligence platform is then able to analyse this data and integrate with Samsung’s content management system to automatically update digital signage. This data driven dynamic content solution enables stores to organise people traffic, while real time triggers and conditional scheduling mean that display signage can be constantly updated, keeping people safe and informed with up to the second data.
