Pearce Hire, provider of technical systems to the events industry, has opened a new warehouse in Peterborough, UK, aiming to streamline workflows and improve the company’s quality of services.
The expansion increases Pearce Hire’s floor space from 17,000 sq. ft to approximately 27,000 sq. ft, helping the business to expand its inventory of lighting, sound, video and rigging equipment as well as staging and power distribution systems.
The expanded warehouse will also offer more space to prepare and process equipment for different departments.
The new warehouse features two mezzanine floors, a goods lift and a training centre, with the aim of fostering collaboration with specialists from outside of the organisation who wish to enrol on Pearce Hire’s own courses as well as hosting their own sessions from within the premises.
