Kramer Electronics adopts Dante
Kramer electronics and Audinate have announced that Kramer has become the 150th manufacturer to licence Audinate’s Dante networking solution.

Dante, developed by Audinate, has is fast becoming an extremely popular media networking technology. Adoption by OEMs for Dante has grown by 50 percent over the past nine months. Dante provides synchronization, low latency and plug-and-play configuration management.

Regarding Kramer’s recent membership Lee Ellison, who is the CEO of Audinate, says: “We share Kramer’s deep philosophical roots in providing unparalleled customer support ad outstanding solutions. We expect the market to rapidly embrace Kramer’s Dante network enabled products.”

Ezra Ozer, vice president of marketing for Kramer, says the following regarding the move: “We see 2014 to be an important year for Kramer’s expansion of delivering reliable and value-oriented audio solutions. We evaluated other audio of IP networking technologies and it was obvious with Audinate, we did not need to place a bet, as it is the most requested audio networking technology in the market.”
