Kraftwerk Living Technologies, a global AV integrator headquartered in Wels, Austria, has added a new member to its senior team, with the appointment of Kevin Murphy as VP of strategic planning.
Murphy's appointment is aimed at strengthening Kraftwerk Living Technologies’ position in the international markets of entertainment, museums and brand centres and to help develop and implement a strategic plan for growth and continued quality.
Murphy joins with a career of over 40 years that includes a position as development director at design group Event Communications in London, and Electrosonic, where he held a number of senior roles over a 20-year period. He also worked at the Natural History Museum in London, with responsibility for the technology development team established during his ten years there. He is a founding member of the Themed Entertainment Association, TEA, having held a board position for eight years, even functioning as president of the European and Middle East board.
Murphy will be based in the United Kingdom, spending some time at the headquarters in Wels as well as travelling extensively to work with clients and partners on projects and at trade shows and events all around the world.
