Install ME a success
Organisers of the Install Middle East show, part of the PALME Middle East exhibition held in April have hailed it a great success, and credited it with contributing greatly to the fact that 40% of next year's PALME Middle East is already sold.

“We are delighted to confirm that at close, 40% of next year’s space allocation had already been reserved,” stated Exhibition Director, Alex Heuff. He said that this is partly attributable to the success of the Install Middle East vertical show, and the fact that several multi-million dollar deals were signed over the course of the three-day expo. These were largely with key regional project managers as the surge of new development work extends through the GCC countries.

Citing several happy exhibitors as evidence of the success of the event, IIR Exhibitions are confident for next year. Long-term supporters Tannoy, have systematically used the show to build up a foothold in the region. Graham Hendry, Tannoy’s technical director, used this occasion to provide a world debut for their revolutionary QFlex beam steering system, which had required six years of development time. “Launching it at PALME was a well thought-out strategy since the system is aimed at the contractor; it is perfect for shopping malls, transport networks and houses of worship — all burgeoning sectors in this region, which are addressed by this show," he said.
