Genelec has appointed Kati Pajukallio as AV business manager and Sami Mäkinen as AV sales manager for Finland.
Both appointments aim to bring Genelec closer to its key customers, driving continued growth in the international and Finnish AV markets.
Pajukallio joined Genelec in 2021, with previous experience in marketing communications roles with integrators Electrosonic and Audico Systems.
In the new role as AV business manager, Pajukallio will lead Genelec’s global AV installation business, playing a key role in transforming the company’s international presence by developing its AV portfolio and partner network as well as strengthening Genelec’s reach and relationships with customers.
Mäkinen has been a central player with Genelec’s sales management team since 2007, concentrated exclusively on the AV market. As Finnish AV sales manager, Mäkinen will handle pre-sales and sales pipeline management, account management and local marketing co-operations, building on Genelec’s presence in the AV installation market in Finland by increasing the levels of cooperation with local AV integrators and installers.
