Exertis rebrands as Exertis Global, announces global expansion

Exertis has confirmed that it is rebranding as Exertis Global, launching its Exertis Pro AV brand as its first specialist brand with more to follow over the next few years.

Tim Griffin, managing director, DCC Technology (Exertis’ parent company) believes that the global brand realignment indicates the start of a ‘new era’ in ‘worldwide specialist distribution’ and single-source supply chain management.

The initiative was accelerated by Exertis’ acquisition of Stampede, with Stampede Europe merging with Medium and the Exertis Pro AV brand, with Stampede in North America being renamed to Exertis.

Exertis Go Connect, Exertis’ Benelux region operator, will also join the Exertis Pro AV brand.

Exertis Comm-Tec, operating in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain and Portugal will also join the Exertis Pro AV brand in 2021.

Griffin commented: "This is more than a new name. All Exertis owned companies are working together to provide a global platform for our manufacturers to access a single, easy-to-manage gateway to a world of Pro AV resellers and end-user customers.

"With Exertis as its specialist distribution partner, manufacturers can benefit from the product and category expertise of our passionate team members across the world. We can scale at a rapid rate and provide financial resources and supply chain solutions expertise."

Exertis Pro AV has its own sales team and a technical support team, featuring LED and emerging technologies specialists as well as a solutions team with access to Exertis’ range of vendors, categories and products, covering display systems, UC and collaboration, professional audio and control, digital signage, media systems and racks and mounts.
