UK based assistive-listening manufacturer Contacta, is extending their reach into the European market after announcing an exclusive partnership with Austrian distributor RTC Sound & Light.
This announcement marks the fourth expansion deal for Contacta, having recently completed export distribution expansions into Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
The deal will see RTC add Contacta’s range of inductive hearing loop and speech transfer systems to its traditional AV distribution business.
RTC’s CEO Sascha Fürstler was relieved to add Contacta’s products to its line-up amid changes to standards and a surge in demand. He said “We were looking for a company with a quality range of assistive listening products. Recent changes to EU standards for accessibility have meant a surge in demand from our customers and end users in Austria. Therefore, we were anxious to find a suitable partner.”
Contacta’s head of business, Ran Meyrav expressed his excitement towards the new partnership. He said “RTC offered us an attentive and professional management approach, as well as good access channels to the Austrian market. They bring to the table a good national coverage and excellent technical understanding. We liked their ‘solution provider’ strategy which is so important when supplying our products to installers or integrators.”
