GivingBack.tech has announced a webinar exploring how surplus AV equipment can be repurposed to support charities and community organisations.
The not-for-profit will present the online session ‘An AV Industry Conduit To Good Causes’ on May 22, from 10-10:30am BST.
Hosted by founder and managing director Ian Morrish, the webinar will explore how the AV industry can redirect second-hand, discontinued and B-stock equipment through a structured approach.
It will break down how GivingBack.tech works for both equipment donors and recipient organisations; practical steps for listing/sourcing AV equipment; the role of reuse in extending product lifecycles; and opportunities to support charities and Community Interest Companies.
The platform, launched earlier this year, aims to rally stakeholders across the AV supply chain to support both sustainability and social value objectives.
The organisation recently appointed Gordon Dutch and Mike Beatty as ambassadors to raise awareness across the industry.
